The San Antonio Spurs and the Phoenix Suns will tip off Game 2 of their Western Conference Semifinal series on Wednesday, May 5th at 9:00 p.m. EST. The Suns haven’t had much luck against the Spurs in the playoffs historically, but Steve Nash put together a 33-point, 10-assist performance to lead the Suns to a Game 1 win. The one constant on all of San Antonio’s championship teams was its defense. We saw that championship-caliber defense against Dallas in round one, but we did not see it last night. The Spurs allowed the Suns to shoot 51.9 percent from the field, and that just not going to get the job done.  One would think the Spurs would tighten the screws defensively in Game 2, but the Suns have had a lot of success against the Spurs this season.  In fact, Game 1 marked the fourth straight game they have scored at least 110 points on San Antonio.
